Marking for Ship Anchors
When anchors have satisfactorily passed the test requirements, they are to be clearly stamped by the manufacturer. One side of the anchor is to be reserved solely for the above marks and the other side used for the maker’s name or other trademarks that may be desired. If the design of the anchor does not permit the above marks being placed or grouped as indicated, a suitable boss is to be cast on each arm on which the marks are to be stamped.
